Burns characterized the injury he suffered in practice Wednesday as a hyperextended knee. He said he will be limited in practice, but he expects to play on Sunday. Normally players are overly optimistic about their injuries, but returning to practice the day after suffering the injury would give credence to that optimism. Un mezzo miracolo se si considera il fumble in apertura e poi il suicidio nel ritorno del punt a cui è immancabilmente seguito il TD di Atlanta (+ palo nella mancata trasformazione del TD, giusto per non farsi mancare nulla). Un tifoso di Phila dovrebbe quasi essere ottimista per aver limitato i danni al termine di un primo tempo segnato da tre episodi così pesanti e tutti contrari: della serie, "se nel secondo tempo azzeriamo gli errori...."
