The New England Patriots have the biggest game of their season coming up on Saturday as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs. The big narrative for the Pats coming into this game is largely centered on all of the key players that should be returning to action. However, they could now be without a key defensive player in Chandler Jones and for reasons far more concerning than an injury. Reports surfaced this past weekend that Jones was taken to the hospital on Saturday, but the reasons as to why were kept under wraps. However, Chris Curtis of WEEI brought the reason to light and, quite frankly, it’s a bit frightening. According to the report, Jones was transported to Norwood Hospital on Saturday after he overdosed on pills. The initial reports of what caused Jones to be hospitalized stated that his overdose occurred at the home of Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, but that part of the report seems to have been retracted at this point with where the overdose took place being left out. Obviously you have to be concerned about the ordeal in terms of Jones’ safety, but this could also result in a suspension leading up to the Patriots’ playoff game on Saturday. What exactly Jones overdosed on isn’t yet known, but if it was anything that falls on the league’s list of banned substances, fines, suspensions, and other repercussions are definitely forthcoming for the Patriots defensive lineman. Speravo fossero proprio i Rams, anche perchè in passato sono stati a LA per quasi 50 anni, anzi io prima di tornare a vedere la Nfl, grazie a tele+ nel 1999, li ricordavo proprio a Los Angeles, attraverso i diari e le carpette degli anni '80 di mio fratello. E poi Oakland è troppo particolare, con i suoi tifosi particolari, giusto rimangano lì i Raiders. Spero rimangano a SD anche i Chargers. Cmq mi piaceva pure st.louis, per via di Warner, è stato il mio primo superbowl in diretta (e che superbowl!!!!!!!!!!!!), grandi emozioni, ma va bene così!! GO LA! Boh... (Vabbè che a St. Louis ultimamente era sempre mezO vuoto ma qualche dubbio ce l'ho cmq) però hanno un bravo coach, una bella difesa, in prospettiva uno dei primi 3 RB della lega. Sicuramente c'è una diversa distribuzione demografica, considerando che le superfici delle due aree urbane sono in rapporto di 1 a 10 (in favore di LA), ma non credo ci siano troppe difficoltà nel riempire lo stadio, soprattutto nei primi tempi quando la curiosità sarà enorme. Questo è ovvio, soprattutto nelle prime stagioni. Il fatto che i Rams fossero già di LA aiuta. Il mio discorso era solo che con un QB forte è tutto più facile. Secondo me da questo punto divista la squadra perfetta erano i Raiders con Carr e Cooper. Ovviamente io non li avrei MAI spostati visto che ad Oakland lo stadio è sempre pieno di genete e la passione è alta. Che ne costruiscano uno la nuovo e basta con sti spostamenti! Poi, non vorrei adesso creare un problema grave (ban?) ma se dovessi decidere dove vivere non ci penserei due volte tra LA e Boston. Ma tutta la vita Boston. Per tutta una serie di cose, come il clima (odio il caldo, amo il freddo), il cibo, tante città importanti vicine, Stephen King...
